Bengaluru, July 22: The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) arrive to Long Island who host their first ever event this weekend with UFC Fight Night: Weidman Vs Gastelum tonight (July 22) at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.

The main event of the evening is a middleweight bout between former UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman and The Ultimate Fighter: Team Jones Vs Team Sonnen middleweight winner Kelvin Gastelum.

A top 10 borderline scrap in the main card between Dennis Bermudez and Darren Elkins in a featerweight bout is the co-main event of the evening.

Jimmie Rivera takes on Thomas Almeida in what promises to be a violence between two rising bantamweight stars. While light heavyweight competitors Patrick Cummins and Gian Villante will face off in a featured bout on the main card as each fighter tries to climb back into the top 10.

Ryan LaFlare aims for his third straight win as he takes on Alex Oliveira, who is fresh off a submission victory against the always-dangerous Tim Means in his last fight.

In a heavyweight bout Brazilian slugger Junior Albini on his UFC debut will face one of the top 15 in the division when he meets Tim Johnson.

The Fight Pass exclusive is set to feature seven more bouts, with the lightweight bout between Chris Wade and Frankie Perez in their rematch from the Ring of Combat promo in May 2014.

Brian Kelleher in his second ever fight in the UFC following his debut last week faces Marlon Vera in a bantamweight bout.

Kyle Bochniak takes on an undefeated Jeremy Kennedy, while undefeated Shane Burgos who has eight of his nine wins via stoppage will fight Godofredo Pepey in two separate featherweight bouts.

In other bouts for the evening, Lyman Good faces Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos in welterweight bout and Damian Grabowski will face Chase Sherman in a heavyweight bout.

To conclude with the scheduled preliminary fight card, Rafael Natal and undefeated Eryk Anders face off in a middleweight bout.
