The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Kansas City, Missouri for the first time since 2023 as the MMA promotion presents UFC on ESPN: Machado Garry vs. Prates (also known as UFC Kansas City 2025) featuring a thrilling card, headlined by a welterweight contenders bout.

The main event of UFC Kansas City will see No. 7 ranked UFC welterweight contender Ian Machado Garry facing a verified Muay Thai striker and No. 13 ranked Carlos Prates.

In the co-main event, China's own rising star Zhang Mingyang gets his first top-of-the-card billing when he takes on fan favorite veteran and No. 15 ranked light heavyweight contender Anthony Smith in his retirement bout.

Also on the main card, an exciting featherweight matchup sees No. 11 Giga Chikadze take on David Onama after No. 14 Michel Pereira meets Abus Magomedov in a middleweight bout.

Plus, Randy Brown and Nicolas Dalby meet in a welterweight match guaranteed to deliver fireworks after Ikram Aliskerov and Dana White's Contender Series (DWCS) signee Andre Muniz square off at middleweight in the main card opener.
