Sean Brady submitted former welterweight champion Leon Edwards in the headliner of UFC London 2025: Edwards vs. Brady event which took place at the O2 Arena in London, England on Sunday (March 22).
UFC's return to London after 2 years set the Highest Grossing Fight Night in UFC History with an attendance of 18,583 and gate record of $4,711,410. There were four submission finishes on the card that also saw nine fights go the distance.

India's Puja Tomar had a disappointing second walk to the Octagon as she followed up her debut win with a loss at the O2 Arena, where four fighters, including the main eventer Brady were awarded bonus.
Apart from Brady, Kevin Holland, Alexia Thainara and Shauna Bannon took home an extra USD 50K for their performance on the under card. Here is a look at the recap of UFC London:
In the main event of UFC's return to London for the first time since 2023, Brady turned a short-notice opportunity into the biggest win of his career, venturing into hostile territory to defeat former champ Edwards.
After a competitive first round where the two men engaged exclusively on the feet, Brady turned to his grappling and took the fight to Edwards, working to dominant positions, hunting for submissions, and landing quality strikes for the whole of the second and most of the third.
As soon as the fourth round began, Brady put Edwards right back on the canvas, climbed to mount and secured a one-arm guillotine that forced Edwards to tap in the penultimate round of the headliner.
Following the win, Brady said, "It feels amazing. I literally took this fight the day I got out of the hospital with my wife, with our newborn baby. I knew this was the fight that I could do that in.
"I know I can do that against anybody in the division. I just showed that against one of the most prestigious champions recently. I'll be ranked number one on uh, on Monday or Tuesday."
In the co-main event, Carlos Ulberg and Jan Błachowicz squared off in a meeting of light heavyweights, battling back-and-forth for 15 minutes with the former earning the points on the judges scorecard.
Ulberg entered on a seven-fight winning streak against a ranked opponent for just the second time, while the former champion Błachowicz was competing for the first time since July 2023, aiming to rebound.
Both men had positive moments, and there was no real point where either seized dominant control of the contest, making it fun to watch and difficult to score. When the scorecards were totalled, all three officials saw the contest for the surging New Zealander, who moved another step closer to title contention with his eighth straight victory.
After the win, Ulberg said, "Jan is a veteran, so you gotta be careful of a guy like that. But he's on his way out, and here to prove a point. It was good to step in the Octagon with him. I have the longest win streak in the light heavyweight division. So the only thing for me is the title shot. That's all that matters."
Also on the main card, Nathaniel Wood and Kevin Holland dominated their opponents for decision wins, while Alexia Thainara and Chris Duncan secured submission wins in their respective bouts.

India's first UFC athlete to win in UFC, Puja Tomar, entered her second Octagon bout against Ireland's Shauna Bannon. Bannon got the better of the exchanges in the opening round, using her kicks to control the range and land with impact a time or two.
In the second, Tomar went high with her left leg and dropped Bannon to the canvas in what could have been an incredible KO victory. But Bannon recovered, clamped onto an armbar, and submitted Tomar.
Also, half Hong Konger Lone'er Kavanagh had to deal with some adversity early, but weathered it well in order to collect a critical win on home soil over the always game Felipe dos Santos.
The Brazilian caught Kavanagh with a right hand that wobbled him early in the first, splitting him open on the top of his head with a spinning elbow later in the opening five minutes.
But Kavanagh put dos Santos on the deck in the second, working well from inside dos Santos' guard before turning back to the takedown in the back half of the third to salt away the victory. Here is a look at the final results of UFC Fight Night 255:
