UFC on Fox 28: Emmett vs. Stephens fight card and schedule

Bengaluru, February 23: The Ultimate Fighting Championship return to Orlando this weekend with UFC Fight Night: Emmett vs. Stephens (UFC on Fox 28) on Saturday (February 24) at Amway Center in Florida.

A featherweight bout between Josh Emmett and Jeremy Stephens is set to headline the event. While a women's strawweight bout between potential title challengers Jessica Andrade and Tecia Torres takes the co-main event slot.

The main event fighters, Emmett is on the back of a knock out win against Ricardo Lamas in December and Stephens is fresh from a January finish of Dooho Choi.

While in the co-headliner, Andrade is fresh from a decision 'fight of the night' win against Claudia Gadelha in September's Fight Night 117 and Torres is also on the back of a decision victory against Michelle Waterson in December's UFC 218.

Also on the main card is a light heavyweight clash between former interim title challenger Ovince Saint Preux and Ilir Lafiti. OSP comes into this fight on the back of a knockout win against Corey Anderson, while Lafiti is fresh from the decision win against Tyson Pedro in UFC 215.

To round off the main card, we will see a welterweight bout between Mike Perry and Max Griffin.

In the prelims we are set to witness the likes of Angela Hill, Sam Alvey, Albert Morales and Sara McMann. While, a bantamweight bout between Renan Barao and Brian Kelleher is set to take the main event slot of the preliminary card.

Sony ESPN will telecast the main card live on Sunday (February 25) from 6.30 AM onwards, while the preliminary card can be streamed via UFC Fight Pass earlier in the day from 2.45 AM.
