Orlando, February 25: Jeremy Stephens stops Josh Emmett and declares himself the hardest-hitting featherweight in the world in UFC Fight Night: Emmett vs. Stephens (UFC on FOX 28) at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida on Saturday (February 24).

In the main event, after being floored Stephens came back as he knocked out Emmett with vicious elbows at the 1:35 mark of the second round.

In the co-main event, Jessica Andrade put herself one step closer to another shot at the women's strawweight championship after she took a unanimous decision from Tecia Torres with a trio of 30-27 scores.

Andrade could next face the winner of the rematch between current champion Rose Namajunas and former champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

Earlier on the main card we saw two upsets as Max Griffin defeated Mike Perry and Ilir Latifi defeated title favourite Ovince Saint Preux.

In the main card opener massive under dog Griffin pulled off one of the biggest wins of his career with a decision win over favourite Perry with scores of 29-27, 29-27 and 30-27 in a welterweight bout.

While Lafiti's guillotine choke made Saint Preux tap at the 3:48 mark of the first round in a light heavyweight bout. After the victory Lafiti said he wants to fight current light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, who next will try to become a two-division champ.

On the preliminary card there were three decisions and five stoppages. Brian Kelleher defeated Renan Barao in the bantamweight main event of the prelims.

Along with Kelleher, Angela Hill (women's strawweight) and Alex Perez (flyweight) also picked up decision wins against Maryana Moroz and Eric Shelton respectively.

In the other five bouts - we saw Marian Reneau defeat Sara McMann via submission. Plus there were two other submission wins, first being Manny Bermudez's gullotine choke of Albert Morales in the event opener. The second, an arm triangle of Rani Yahya on fellow bantamweight Russell Doane.
