The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Friday (August 16) announced its long-awaited return to Greater China with UFC Fight Night Macau on November 23 in local prime time hosted by Galaxy Macau, Asia's world-class integrated resort destination.
UFC Macau 2024 marks UFC's fourth event in Macau since 2012 and the seventh overall to be held in Greater China. Macau is the entertainment hub of China's dynamic Greater Bay Area and draws tourists from across Asia for its vibrant culture and many attractions.

The city's strategic location and infrastructure position it as an ideal location for upscale international sporting events. This year, the event is set to take place at Macau's largest indoor arena, Galaxy Macau's newly inaugurated Galaxy Arena.

Kevin Chang, UFC Senior Vice President and Head of Asia and Kevin Kelley, Chief Operating Officer, Macau of Galaxy Entertainment Group, met at the Galaxy International Convention Center to formally announce UFC Fight Night Macau.

In recent years, UFC's popularity in China has grown significantly, as the country has produced several elite fighters and rising stars of the sport, including undisputed UFC women's strawweight champion Zhang Weili; top-ranked contenders Song Yadong, Yan Xiaonan, and Sumudaerji.
Also highly-regarded prospects from Asia's tournament ROAD TO UFC, Zhang Mingyang and Wang Cong. The emergence of this talented group of fighters follows the groundbreaking establishment of the UFC Performance Institute Shanghai in 2019.
