The Ultimate Fighting Championship opens 2025 with a return to the Apex this weekend for UFC Vegas 101: Dern vs Ribas 2 (also known as UFC Fight Night 249 or UFC on ESPN+ 107), headlined by women's strawweight contenders rematch.
UFC opens the year at home in Las Vegas this weekend with a pivotal strawweight rematch between top ten ranking finishers Mackenzie Dern and Amanda Ribas, while exciting all-rounders feature in the co-main event as Santiago Ponzinibbio faces Carlston Harris in a welterweight bout.

Also on the main card, César Almeida takes on Abdul Razak Alhassan at middleweight before Chris Curtis collides with Roman Kopylov at the same weight division. Plus, Christian Rodriguez faces Austin Bashi in a featherweight bout.
In the main card opener, Punahele Soriano meets Uros Medic at welterweight after Jose Johnson and Felipe Bunes face off at flyweight to close the preliminary card, which also sees middleweights Marco Tulio and Ihor Potieria do battle.

The event takes place on Saturday (January 11) at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas. And due to time difference in India, the event will start in the early hours of Sunday (January 12).
The preliminary card starts at 4 PM ET / 1 PM PT / 9 PM GMT (Saturday, January 11) | 2:30 AM IST (Sunday, January 12). The main card, meanwhile, starts at 7 PM ET / 4 PM PT (Saturday, January 11) | 12 AM GMT / 5:30 AM IST (Sunday, January 12).
