Lerone Murphy dominated Josh Emmett in the featherweight headliner of UFC Vegas 105: Emmett vs. Murphy event at the UFC Apex Facility in Las Vegas on Saturday (April 5) night.
The 12-fight card, which marked the Octagon's return to the Apex, saw eight fights go the distance, including the headliner, while four fights ended in stoppage. Three bouts were either knockout (KO) or technical knockout (TKO), while one was a submission win.

There was no fight of the night award, but four fighters took home an extra $50,000 USD as performance bonus for their respective stoppage wins on the UFC Vegas 105 fight card. Here is the bonus winners followed by the recap for the UFC on ESPN+ 112 event:
Surging featherweights faced off when No. 8 ranked Emmett and No. 10 ranked Murphy entered the Octagon and the pair went a very competitive five rounds in the main event.
Emmett's grappling vied with Murphy's striking, but the high skill level kept them neck-and-neck. While neither man could get a finish, Murphy's output and last round knockdown swayed the judges' scores.
Following the unanimous decision win, Murphy said, "I just had to fight my game. Everybody knows he's got one punch knock out power. So I had to fight top level. I couldn't leave any mistakes."
Murphy later made known of his intentions of a future title shot, "I'm 16 and zero! Obviously, I want a title shot, but give me anybody in that top five, top three, that's what. I'll keep this train going. We'll get to the championship."
In the co-main event, Pat Sabatini turned in a dominant effort, needing a single takedown in each round to register more than 13 minutes of ground control time while collecting his second straight win by taking the decision against Joanderson Brito.
Also on the main card, ROAD TO UFC Season 2 bantamweight winner ChangHo Lee made his UFC debut representing South Korea against Dana White's Contender Series signee Cortavious Romious.
By all counts, it was a massive success and he earned a Performance of the Night bonus in his debut. Lee aggressively punched his way into shoots, dominantly controlled on the ground, and forced the referee to jump in to stop the fight in the second round, finishing Romious by TKO.
After the win, Lee said, "We were prepared for grappling and the scrambles. My coaches and my teammates really prepared me for this. My teammates really put me through hell, throughout my camp. I'm not happy with my performance. I want to be the Korean Merab Dvalishvili: 'The Machine'."
In the main card opener, Torrez Finney edged Robert Valentin for a split decision in a middleweight bout before Ode' Osbourne stopped Luis Gurule in the second round of a flyweight bout, while Brad Tavares outpointed Gerald Meerschaert in a middleweight scrap.
Earlier in the preliminary card, Thailand's one and only representative Loma Lookboonmee made her long-awaited return against fellow Muay Thai champ in Brazil, Istela Nunes.
Loma was able to keep most of the three-round fight in her wheelhouse with punishing body kicks and blistering combinations. When Nunes won ground scrambles and tried submissions, Loma proved her grappling defense was on point.
Loma extended her winning streak to four with the unanimous decision, tied for the third-most in a row in the strawweight division. Her striking differential, takedown accuracy, and takedowns landed also remain in the top ten in the division's record books, setting her up for a likely top-15 ranked opponent in 2025.
After the win, Loma said, "I felt like I improved as an MMA fighter, and I wanted to try and put these moves together more. And I feel like I did that tonight. Last year, I broke my hand and I had to get surgery, but this year I'd like to fight, two, three times if possible."
Meanwhile, Victor Henry, Martin Buday and Talita Alencar earned decision wins in their respective bouts on the prelims. Plus, Dione Barbosa and Rhys McKee claimed the two stoppage wins on the under card. Here is a look at the final results of UFC on ESPN 65:
