The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to the Apex this weekend with UFC Vegas 78: Luque vs. Dos Anjos (also known as UFC on ESPN 51), which is headlined by a welterweight top contenders bout.

In the main event, No. 10 ranked contender Vicente Luque welcomes former lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos to the 170-pound division, while fan favorite Hall of Famer Cub Swanson squares off against surging KO artist Hakeem Dawodu in the featherweight co-main event.

Also on the main card, No. 13 ranked light heavyweight contender Khalil Rountree Jr. aims for another signature knockout against former heavyweight standout Chris Daukaus after thrilling strawweights meet as Polyana Viana faces Iasmin Lucindo.

Plus, AJ Dobson and Tafon Nchukwi clash in a middleweight contest after Josh Fremd takes on Jamie Pickett in a middleweight matchup that is scheduled to open the main card.

JP Buys returns to bantamweight to face Marcus McGhee to close the preliminary card, that will also see an intriguing lightweight tilt that pits Terrance McKinney against Mike Breeden after featherweights Francis Marshall and Isaac Dulgarian lock horns.

The prelims will also see heavyweights Josh Parisian and Martin Buday collide after Jaqueline Amorim intends to impress against Montserrat Conejo at strawweight after TUF season 30 flyweight winner Juliana Miller seeks to spoil the UFC debut of Luana Santos in the event opener.
