Las Vegas, November 19: Brendan Allen forced Paul Craig to tap out in the main event of UFC Vegas 82: Allen vs. Craig at the UFC Apex Facility in Las Vegas on Sunday (November 19).
The 14-fight card saw 10 fights end in stoppages, while four fights went the distance for the decision. Among the 10 stoppage wins, 3 were knockouts or technical knockouts, 6 were a submission finish and one was a no contest.

While there was no fight of the night in UFC Fight Night 232, four fighters including main eventer Allen as well Jeka Saragih, Joanderson Brito and Amanda Ribas - pocketed an extra USD50K as performance bonuses for their respective stoppage wins on the card. Here is the recap:
In the main event, two of the newest and hottest middleweight contenders who happen to be submission experts, No. 10 ranked Allen and No. 13 ranked Craig, did indeed show off many exchanges on the canvas.
But Allen was the aggressor with flying throws and ground dominance, finally making Craig tap to a rear naked choke in the third round of the middleweight bout.
Following the stoppage, Allen said, "I need another number one contender shot. I've beat everyone they've put in front of me, I've earned it. (Robert) Whittaker, (Jared) Cannonier, whoever it is, I don't care.
"I'm here to prove I'm the best in the world. I believe in myself, I got a sports psychologist, I'm getting more comfortable, and I'm not even in my prime yet."
In the co-main event, undefeated welterweight rookie Michael Morales and veteran stand out Jake Matthews showed elite striking with each having moments of success over the course of three rounds.
Morales had a slightly wider array of strikes and applied them with more frequency, swaying all three judges to award the fight in his favour for a unanimous decision win.
After the win, Morales said, "One more step. This was a tough competition to face, but my hands speak for themselves. I'm going to continue, and I'm going to be angry to the end. I knew this guy was tough, I was really listening to my coaches and I'd like to thank them, they improved my boxing, this is the way."
Also on the main card, Chase Hooper, Ribas, Payton Talbott and Myktybek Orolbai claimed stoppage wins over Jordan Leavitt, Luana Pinheiro, Nick Aguirre and Uros Medic in their respective bouts.

In the preliminary card, Indonesia's first UFC fighter Jeka Saragih delivered yet another highlight reel finish that became his trademark throughout season one of ROAD TO UFC on his Octagon debut.
Lucas Alexander faced the Indonesian with a significant reach and height advantage, but Saragih saw his shot and didn't miss, getting the KO in just a minute and a half of the first round. It also landed Saragih a Performance of the Night bonus to take home to his family.
The prelims also saw Trey Ogden's submission win against Nikolas Motta overturned to a no contest after a review due to referee error. However, there were stoppage wins for Brito, Christian Leroy Duncan and Jose Johnson.
Meanwhile, Rafael Estevam, Ailin Perez and Mick Parkin earned decision wins on the undercard. Here is a look at the final results of UFC Fight Night: Allen vs Craig:
