The Ultimate Fighting Championship opens 2024 at the Apex this weekend with UFC Vegas 84: Ankalaev vs. Walker 2 (also known as UFC Fight Night 234 or UFC on ESPN+ 92), which is headlined by an exciting light heavyweight contenders rematch.

The main event sees No. 3 ranked UFC light heavyweight Magomed Ankalaev and No. 7 Johnny Walker finally rematch following their No Contest in October of last year, while a thrilling lightweight matchup pits Octagon veteran Jim Miller against Gabriel Benitez in the co-main event.

Also on the main card, highly skilled bantamweights No. 13 ranked contender Ricky Simon and Mario Bautista clash after an action-packed middleweight bout features Phil Hawes and Brunno Ferreira.

In the main card opener, former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski takes on Waldo Cortes Acosta after Matthew Semelsberger collides with Preston Parsons at welterweight to close the preliminary card.

The prelims will open with an Asian MMA athlete as Myanmar-born Joshua Van will look to remain undefeated in UFC and cement his prospect status when he clashes with UFC newcomer Felipe Burns at flyweight.
