While there was no fight of the night awarded in UFC Vegas 86, also known as UFC Fight Night 236, four fighters, including co-main eventer Dan Ige, bagged performance of the night bonuses for their respective stoppage wins.

Apart from Ige, Rodolfo Vieira, Carlos Prates and Bogdan Guskov took home an extra USD50K for their stoppage wins on the under card. Here is the recap for the UFC on ESPN+ 94 event:

UFC Vegas 86 Recap

Veteran No. 11 ranked middleweight Hermansson welcomed rising contender Joe Pyfer to his first main event. Pyfer showed extreme confidence and got off multiple hard shots early, while Hermansson defended well in order to extend the fight into later rounds that favor him.

Experience made all the difference as Hermansson was able to mount his offence and stuff Pyfer's takedowns. Hermansson won the unanimous decision and revealed who he could face next in the UFC.

"I know that people underestimate my boxing skills... but I believed in myself. And especially in a long fight, nobody has the cardio that I have," Hermansson said in the Octagon interview after the stoppage win.

"If you see the earlier fights in my career, I based a lot of my work from that jab, so I just needed to wake it up again. What about Nassourdine Imavov from last weekend? I think that would be a great opponent."

In the co-main event, No. 13 ranked featherweight Ige took on Andre Fili with high emotions, knowing the former training partner wanted to take his ranking. But Ige put aside the feelings and made it all business. He was on point and sent a definitive message buy knocking out Fili in the very first round like he dreamt before the event.

Following the stoppage, Ige said, "I love Andre, but I couldn't let that get in the way. I couldn't come in here and be his friend. I had to go out there and let him know this is different. I've got to give thanks to my wife (who is 37 weeks pregnant). She's probably in labor right now, so I had to make that one quick!"

Also on the main card, Ihor Potieria and Michael Johnson earned unanimous decision wins in their respective middleweight and lightweight bouts by dominating Robert Bryczek and Darrius Flowers over three rounds.

Plus, middleweights Gregory Rodrigues and Rodolfo Vieira claimed stoppage wins. While Roderigues stopped Brad Tavares in the third round, Vieira finished Armen Perosyan in the closing stages of the opening stanza.

The preliminary card closed with a second-round stoppage as Carlos Prates defeated Trevin Giles via knockout in a welterweight bout, while Bogdan Guskov stopped Zac Pauga in the first round of a light heavyweight bout.

Also, Thailand's own Muay Thai champion Loma Lookboonmee earned her third-straight victory by imposing her own fight style on Bruna Brasil. For the majority of the three-round fight, Loma dictated the pace, position and out-struck Brasil to be awarded the unanimous decision.

Loma continues to improve her overall skillset and will surely add her name to the strawweight contender discussion very soon. After the win, Loma hinted about moving weight divisions.

"The past year has been the hardest of my life. There hasn't been a day that I've gone by without crying. I'd like to thank myself for getting me here today, and my family and team for sticking by me. I'm so happy, this is my first time in UFC getting three wins in a row! But, if they would open up a 105-pound division for me, I'd really appreciate it."

Filipino Hyder Amil scored a technical knockout victory in an impressive UFC debut over fellow prospect Fernie Garcia. Amil finished his opponent in the second round.

Amil has had an emotional ride to get to UFC, from his childhood in Cebu, Philippines as the son of a Filipina mother and an Indian-Turkish-English-Romanian father, to his start-quit-start relationship with MMA, so this win has a special meaning for him.
