In a pivotal match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack, Chennai Quick Guns secured the final semifinal spot in Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2 by defeating Mumbai Khiladis with a commanding score of 41-18.

Simultaneously, earlier in the day, Odisha Juggernauts secured their spot in the semifinals with a narrow 30-27 victory over Gujarat Giants, becoming the third team to advance.

Chennai Quick Guns dominated from the start, as Mumbai Khiladis chose to defend but failed to live up to the decision. Chennai quickly took a 16-0 lead in Turn 1, displaying exceptional attacking prowess.

The defensive excellence continued in Turn 2, with Chennai's players lasting over five minutes on the mat, scoring six dream run points and extending their lead to 22-8 at halftime.

In Turn 3, Chennai Quick Guns' attackers maintained their momentum, swiftly dispatching Mumbai Khiladis' batches and leaving them with an insurmountable task.
