All 8 teams finalized their squads for the upcoming season of Ultimate Table Tennis - UTT 2024 following the UTT Player Draft, which was held in Mumbai on Wednesday (July 10).
With 5 players already being retained ahead of the draft process, a total of 43 players among the 47 were drafted in by the teams for the fifth season of UTT, which is slated to be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai from August 22 to September 7.

Each team needed to have a roster of 6 players in their squad, including one foreign male and female player as well as two Indian male and female players as a requirement for competing in the tournament.
Chennai Lions, PPG Bengaluru Smashers, Dabang Delhi TTC, U Mumbai and Goa Challengers had all retain star Indian paddlers before the draft process, allowing Puneri Paltan as well as the two newcomers Jaipur Patriots and Ahmedabad SG Pipers, the first round picks.
In the first round of the draft, Jaipur Patriots, who earned the first pick after the draw, drafted in India's rising paddler Sreeja Akula, while Puneri Paltan roped in Ayikha Mukherjee before Ahmedabad SG Pipers added Manush Shah as their first pick.
The second round of the draft was open for all eight teams with Bengaluru Smashers getting the first pick and opting for Spanish paddler Alvaro Robles, while newcomers Ahmedabad signed Romanian player Bernadette Szocs as their second round pick as the other six teams also added.
In the third round, U Mumba, who got the first pick, opted for Nigeria's Aruna Qadri, while debutants Jaipur Patriots roped in Suthasini Sawettabut. Here is a look at the full squads after the UTT Draft 2024:
