Indian sensation Nazareth Lalthazuala is prepared to deliver another explosive performance. The 25-year-old will face Philippines' Jake Bron in a strawweight MMA clash at ONE Friday Fights 144 on 27 February inside Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium.
Lalthazuala made an unforgettable impression in his ONE Championship debut last November, shocking fans by knocking out Japan's Masaki Suzuki in just 17 seconds. The Dojang MMA representative floored his opponent with two crushing left hands before unleashing devastating ground and pound to announce his arrival on the global stage.

The perfect 6-0 record speaks to Lalthazuala's finishing ability and well-rounded skill set, attributes he'll need against Bron. The Filipino makes his ONE Friday Fights debut carrying a respectable 6-2 professional record and the motivation to spoil another newcomer's momentum.
Reflecting on his spectacular debut, Lalthazuala admitted the quick finish surprised even himself. The Indian fighter had prepared for a full three-round war but couldn't contain his power once the opportunity presented itself.
"I was very happy and it's a dream come true moment and thank you, Jesus and my family and my gym. I wanted to play all three rounds. But I hit him very hard," Lalthazuala said.
Looking ahead to Friday's showdown, "The Northstar" has studied Bron's tendencies and believes he holds a crucial advantage in the grappling department. He expects Bron to rely heavily on wrestling but remains confident his own grappling credentials will prove superior.
"I am very excited. I am ready. My opponent is a very good fighter, and it will be a very good fight. He likes wrestling, but I have better wrestling. I will win," he declared.
Beyond technical skills, Lalthazuala credits his unbreakable mentality as his greatest weapon. The 25-year-old refuses to entertain thoughts of defeat, maintaining the champion's mindset that has carried him through six professional victories without a loss.
"My biggest strength is my mindset. I don't give up. I don't know [about another knockout] but I will give a very good fight. One day I will be the World Champion," Lalthazuala said.
