''Unfortunate that PM could not see sports loving Jharkhand''

Ranchi, Feb 18 (PTI) Jharkhand Olympic Association''sworking president RK Anand is upset with the fact that PrimeMinister Manmohan Singh won''t be able to attend the closingceremony of the ongoing 34th National Games here.

"It is a misfortune for the state that the Prime Ministercould not see the National Games and the spirit of thesportsmen and people here. Else he could have himself seen andfelt the love for sports in the state," he said.

Anand said that he has been informed that the PM will notbe able to attend the closing due to his engagements in thebudget session.

Jharkhand chief minister Arjun Munda had invited the PMand the President for the opening and closing ceremonies ofthe Games.
