UP reaches final

Vijayawada, Jan 19 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh entered the final in the boys section, by outwitting defending champions Karnataka, in the 33rd Reliance Junior National Volleyball Championship here today.

In the semi-final, Uttar Pradesh after winning the first set 25-23 lost the second set to Karnataka 20-25.

However, they came back into the game and won the third and the fourth sets 25-21, 25-17.

Uttar Pradesh would meet the winners of Tamil Nadu Vs Rajasthan match in the final, which was underway.

Result: (semifinal) boys: UP beat Karnataka 25-23, 20-25, 25-21, 25-17.
