Vaughan could be part of 'A' team on India tour

London, Sep 30 (UNI) After his omission from national team, which will tour India later this year, former skipper Michael Vaughan could still arrive in India but with the England 'A' team.

England selector Geoff Miller had announced last weekend that Vaughan would be dropped from the England team for the tour of India this winter.

He added that in the current form, there was no way the selectors could justify including Vaughan in the touring party.

However, Miller asserted that Vaughan was a very valuable player for England, and that they would try and accomodate him in the England Lions squad.

''It is a possibility that he could link up with the Performance Squad, we could use that. There's a lot of opportunities for him to play, '' Miller told Sky Sports News yesterday.

''It's all about winning matches and sessions and we'll look after Vaughan as much as we can. We could look at that or send him out somewhere in the world.

''We see him as an integral part of our plans. There's lots of cricket coming up. He's played for England for 10 years and deserves a bit of a break,'' he added.
