Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2026: Revised Route, New Race Timings, Schedule & Live Streaming Details

New Delhi, October 16: The 21st edition of the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2026 is set to take place on Sunday, October 18, with more than 41,000 runners expected to participate in the prestigious World Athletics Gold Label Road Race. Organised by Procam International, the event will bring together elite athletes, amateur runners and fitness enthusiasts on the streets of the national capital.

Ahead of race day, organisers have announced a minor revision to the half marathon route, along with changes to the start times for the Open 10K Run, Champions with Disability Run and Senior Citizens' Run. Participants have been informed of the updates through social media, WhatsApp, email and announcements at the event Expo.

Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2026: Route Changes

The half marathon route will undergo a minor change between the 10km and 13km marks. Runners proceeding along Kartavya Path will turn left towards Seva Teerth Circle, followed by another left onto Maulana Azad Road.

They will then make a U-turn and continue around Seva Teerth Circle towards Rafi Marg before turning right to rejoin Kartavya Path.

The revised stretch replaces the previous route, which took runners from Kartavya Path towards Rail Bhawan, Sansad Marg and Patel Chowk. Additionally, there will be no race start from Sansad Marg this year.

Delhi Half Marathon 2026: Updated Race Timings

The Open 10K Run will now begin at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at 7:35 AM, five minutes later than previously announced. The Champions with Disability Run and Senior Citizens' Run have also been rescheduled from 7:00 AM to 6:30 AM.

The complete race schedule is as follows:

• Elite Men's Half Marathon: 5:18 AM
• Elite Women's Half Marathon: 5:20 AM
• Half Marathon and Police Cup: 5:30 AM
• Champions with Disability and Senior Citizens' Run: 6:30 AM
• Open 10K Run: 7:35 AM
• Corporate Run: 9:00 AM
• Great Delhi Run: 9:05 AM

There is no change to the Great Delhi Run route or its scheduled start time.

Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2026: Live Streaming

Race-day proceedings will be streamed live from 5:00 AM on the Procam International YouTube channel. Viewers can also watch the event on the official World Athletics YouTube channel.
