Veteran Sports Administrator L N Khurana passes away

New Delhi, June 16 (UNI) Veteran sports administrator Lok Nath Khurana has passed away at the age of 96.

A recipient of Olympic Silver order, Khurana died here on June 14.

Khurana was one of the founder members of the Archery Association of India (AAI) and also held the post of joint-secretary of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA).

A widely travelled sports official, Khurana had represented India in several International meets for over four decades.

AAI president Vijay Kumar Malhotra has condoled the death of Khurana saying his contribution to Indian sports will be long remembered.
