Olympics: Indian boxers ready to punch

Patiala, August 1, 2008 : It"s been eight years since India agonizingly missed their first Olympic boxing medal… But this time Indian boxers brimming with confidence will enter the ring in Beijing.

Medal-starved India will send its largest ever-boxing team to the Olympics starting next week. Middleweight Vijender and bantamweight Kumar qualified for the tournament in February. First-timers Dinesh Kumar, Anthresh Lakra and Jitender Kumar will join them for the games.
