Warriors Show Championship-Level Play, Declares Stephen Curry After Denver Victory

Stephen Curry asserts that the Golden State Warriors are performing at a championship level following their recent win over the Denver Nuggets. With a five-game winning streak and improved performance in critical moments, the Warriors are positioning themselves strongly in the Western Conference.

Stephen Curry expressed confidence in the Golden State Warriors' current form, suggesting they are performing at a championship level. This follows their 118-104 victory over the Denver Nuggets, marking their fifth consecutive win. The Warriors now hold a 46-31 record, trailing the Nuggets by just one game in the Western Conference standings.

Curry delivered an impressive performance with 36 points, five assists, two rebounds, and two steals. He made 13 of his 24 field goal attempts and sank seven three-pointers. Over his last three games, Curry has accumulated 125 points, a feat only LeBron James has surpassed at age 37 or older.

Curry Claims Warriors Are Championship Ready

Brandin Podziemski contributed significantly with 26 points, while Jimmy Butler added 19. Despite Nikola Jokic's near triple-double of 33 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists, the Warriors' collective effort overshadowed his performance. Curry commented on their current form: "We're playing like that. We have a lot of work to do."

The Warriors have been victorious in 22 out of their last 26 games since February 8. This is a stark contrast to their previous form when they lost 10 of their last 17 games. Curry noted the increased urgency as the season progresses and how each game becomes crucial for standings.

The Warriors currently sit fifth in the Western Conference after a successful night for teams at the top of the standings. The Los Angeles Lakers moved into third place with a record of 47-30 after defeating the New Orleans Pelicans.

Luka Doncic led with a game-high of 35 points for his team, while Austin Reaves added another impressive performance with 30 points. LeBron James also contributed significantly with 27 points and eight assists as part of Los Angeles' 'Big Three'.

Key Performances Across Teams

The Houston Rockets solidified their second-place position by ending Oklahoma City Thunder's winning streak with a scoreline of 125-111. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers secured a victory against Dallas Mavericks with Kawhi Leonard scoring 20 points among six players reaching double figures.

Curry emphasised that as stakes rise and pressure mounts, they tend to elevate their game. This mentality has been key to their sustained success over many years.
