Warriors Overcome Curry Injury To Defeat Raptors In Thrilling Match

The Golden State Warriors triumphed over the Toronto Raptors 117-114, despite Stephen Curry leaving the game due to a pelvic contusion. Key contributions from Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green helped secure the win.

Jimmy Butler achieved his second triple-double with Golden State, scoring 18 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and providing 12 assists. The Warriors narrowly defeated the Toronto Raptors 117-114 on Thursday night. Stephen Curry left the game due to a pelvic contusion after a hard fall while attempting a rebound. Before exiting, Curry contributed 17 points.

Draymond Green added to the Warriors' success with 21 points and seven rebounds. Quinten Post also played a crucial role by scoring 18 points through six successful three-pointers. This victory marked the Warriors' ninth win in their last ten games. Scottie Barnes led the Raptors with 29 points and ten rebounds, while Immanuel Quickley scored 21 points.

Warriors Win Despite Curry's Injury

Jakob Poeltl supported the Raptors with 18 points and eight rebounds. Steve Kerr's team completed a successful homestand with a record of 6-1, showing potential for deep postseason play. Since acquiring Butler before the trade deadline, the Warriors have improved to a record of 16-3.

In the game's final moments, Butler made a critical block on Jamal Shead's layup attempt and was fouled afterward. He secured the win by making both free throws, maintaining the Warriors' narrow lead.

The Milwaukee Bucks triumphed over the Los Angeles Lakers with a decisive score of 118-89. Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee by scoring 28 points, while Gary Trent Jr. added another 23 points. Kyle Kuzma contributed significantly with his own tally of 20 points.

The Lakers were missing key players due to injuries, including LeBron James and Rui Hachimura. Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves also sat out because of sprained ankles. Despite Bronny James reaching double figures for the first time in his NBA career with 17 points, Los Angeles saw its nine-game home winning streak end.

Pacers Edge Out Nets in Overtime

The Indiana Pacers emerged victorious against the Brooklyn Nets in overtime with a score of 105-99. Bennedict Mathurin was instrumental for Indiana, scoring six of his total 28 points during overtime and securing an impressive total of 16 rebounds.

Myles Turner also contributed significantly with his performance of 23 points, ten rebounds, and five blocks as Indiana secured their third consecutive win and fifth in six games overall.

The Nets had initially led at halftime but struggled offensively in the second half and overtime periods. Ziaire Williams and D'Angelo Russell each managed to score only 22 points for Brooklyn as they suffered their twelfth loss in fourteen games.

The Bucks capitalised on their opponents' absences by closing out the first quarter on a decisive run that set them apart for good. Meanwhile, Dalton Knecht and Gabe Vincent struggled to fill in offensively for Los Angeles as they combined for just eight successful shots out of twenty-six attempts.
