Jimmy Butler has emphasised the need for the Golden State Warriors to maintain flawless play if Stephen Curry is sidelined due to a pelvic contusion. This injury occurred during their 117-114 victory over the Toronto Raptors at Chase Center. Curry was injured while attempting a rebound and had to leave the game, having scored 17 points by that time.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr confirmed that Curry underwent an MRI following the game. Butler, who recently joined the Warriors from the Miami Heat, recorded his second triple-double with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists. He stressed that without Curry, they must avoid turnovers and fouls as they lack a player who can easily turn games around.

The Warriors are set to begin a six-game road trip on Saturday, starting against the Atlanta Hawks. They will also face Butler's former team, the Miami Heat, on Tuesday. Coach Kerr remains optimistic about Curry's condition, noting that Curry wanted to return to the game but was held back as a precaution.
Kerr stated, "He thought he might be able to come back. We just decided not to risk anything. So hopefully it’s not bad." Draymond Green expressed concern over Curry's fall, describing it as alarming and hoping for his swift recovery. "He hit that ground hard," Green remarked. "You could hear it. It was crazy."
This season, Curry has been instrumental for the Warriors, averaging 24.2 points along with six assists and 4.4 rebounds in 60 games. His shooting accuracy includes making 39.4% of his three-point attempts and hitting 44.7% of his shots overall from the field.
The team is hopeful for Curry's quick return as they navigate this challenging period without their star player. The Warriors understand that maintaining their performance level is crucial in his absence.
