Steph Curry's Stunning 38-Foot Shot Compared To Cirque Du Soleil By Draymond Green

Draymond Green praised Steph Curry's remarkable 38-foot shot against the Brooklyn Nets, comparing it to a Cirque du Soleil performance. Curry scored 40 points, leading the Warriors to victory.

Steph Curry was the centre of attention in the Golden State Warriors' locker room after his remarkable 38-foot three-pointer against the Brooklyn Nets. With only 0.3 seconds left in the second quarter, Curry received a pass from Jimmy Butler at midcourt and made the shot. His performance, which included scoring 40 points and seven three-pointers, helped the Warriors overcome a 22-point deficit to win 121-119 at Barclays Center.

Draymond Green, Curry's teammate, expressed confidence in Curry's abilities, saying, "Most people can make that shot, luckily. [But] we all knew that shot was going in. It really changes the momentum." Green emphasised how Curry's performance was not just about scoring but also about creating an unforgettable experience for fans. "It's like you went and watched a Cirque du Soleil or something," he added.

The Warriors concluded their five-game east coast trip with a 4-1 record. During this stretch, Curry averaged 34.8 points and 7.8 assists while making 32 three-pointers. His consistent performance has been pivotal for the team's success on this road trip.

Steve Kerr, the Warriors' coach, praised Curry for his exceptional performances throughout the trip. "Steph just had an incredible trip, put on a show in every city," Kerr stated. He highlighted how Curry brings joy to fans across different cities with his extraordinary skills and performances.

Curry himself admitted that he doesn't practice turnaround three-pointers like the one he made against the Nets. "That one, it's not in the practice routine," he said. Despite this, he managed to pull off the shot instinctively and acknowledged it surprised even him.

The victory over Brooklyn places the Warriors sixth in the Western Conference with a record of 35-28. The team's ability to rally from significant deficits showcases their resilience and determination as they continue their season.
