Klitschko wants to shut Haye

By Anmolg

London: Ukrainian WBC world heavyweight boxing champion Vitali Klitschko has targeted British boxer David Haye as his preferred option as his next opponent.

David Haye is a former undisputed cruiserweight champion champion of the world is known for his exciting style of boxing, his powerful punches, but Klitschko is a much powerful, stronger and opponent this time around.

Klitschko"s demand came after he retained his title with a 10th-round knockout against London-based Polish fighter Albert Sosnowski in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

“I would like to fight either David Haye or the Russian giant Valuev next. I would really like to fight Haye next because I want his title," The Mirror quoted Klitschko, as saying.

“All Haye does is talk trash about other fighters. I would really like to get him in the ring to shut his big mouth," he added.

When asked about his fourth defence in his third reign as world title-holder, Klitschko said: “I am very happy about my performance. Albert was good, but I saw his mistakes and took advantage of them."

It was the Ukrainian"s 38th stoppage victory in 42 fights.

The match between Haye and Vitali Klitschko is set to be held in June in London.

This is what Haye had earlier quoted to BBC, "I have said from day one I am going to be the undisputed cruiserweight and heavyweight champion. I have not disappointed. I am not cherry-picking, I am going after the most dangerous fighter on the planet."

Haye is also in talks with Klitschko"s younger brother and IBF-WBO king Wladimir about a world title unification clash in October.
