We will play to win: Lalchand Rajput

Nagpur, Oct 12 (UNI) The Indian team which arrived here along with the Australian team this afternoon put up a brave face inspite of receiving a thrashing in Vadodara to go 1-3 down in the series.

Indian cricket manager Lalchand Rajput, speaking to mediapersons, today said the mood in the team was good and they would play to win on Sunday.

Rajput further said that Nagpur was a ''lucky'' centre for him and his players would not disappoint him.

The former India opener said, ''The team would concentrate on not losing a wicket in the first ten overs to be able to put pressure on the Aussies who have an excellent all round team -- be it batting or bowling.'' Only two Indian players -- Rohit Sharma and S Badrinath, had some batting practice at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium here this afternoon, with the rest of the players preferring to take rest.

''The players are tired with the hectic travelling, and, therefore, want to rest. So they did not take to the nets today,'' Rajput informed.

The team will have a net session at the VCA Stadium tomorrow morning, he added.
