Weather prevents flight of the paragliders in Pre World Cup

Dharamshala, Oct 15 (UNI) High speed icy cold winds accompanied by a hailstorm and rains kept the paragliders indoors on the opening day of the five-day Himalayan Paragliding Pre World Cup 2008 at Billing, near here today.

After the formal inauguration by the event by Irrigation and Public Health Minister Ravinder Ravi this morning, the organisers waited anxiouslyfor the weather to clear up but it was all in vain.
