Wenger believes Champions League trophy is in his club's destiny

By Super Admin

London, Apr. 29 (ANI): Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal will at last be crowned the football kings of Europe."This is the moment we have all been waiting for. There is a big gap in the history of this club and we are determined to wipe that out. That is why we are here. I am an optimist and I believe that we will win the Champions League - the sooner the better," The Sun quoted Wenger, as saying.

"People love success and, the more you win, the more you have fans who love the club. The size of the club is determined by the number of people who support you. And every title makes you bigger," he added.

Wenger, 59, has led Arsenal through 11 successive Champions League campaigns and took them all the way to the 2006 final, when they lost 2-1 to Barcelona.

And he insists his desire to finally lift the trophy is intensified by the desperation of the supporters to be the best in Europe. (ANI)
