Western Railway defeats SAI in straight sets

Payyannur(Kerala), Feb 25 (UNI) Western Railway, Mumbai defeated SAI, Thalassery in straight sets in the inaugural match of the National League Volleyball for women held here today with 25-21, 25-19, 25-22.

Shibi K J Captain of the Western Railway rose to the occasion with her deft smashes and neat placements. Though the losers, especially players Princy Joseph and Jose V Paul, made attempts to match their rivals, but the team from Mumbai gave a splendid display and proved their overall supremacy.
