New Delhi, Sep 25: Roshibina Devi added yet another major chapter to her Asian Games career. The Indian wushu athlete won silver in the women's 60kg Sanda final at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya on September 24. She lost 0-2 to China's Zhang Xiaoyu, but the result gave her medals at three consecutive editions of the Asian Games, making her the first Indian wushu athlete to achieve that feat.

Her latest medal also carries added context. Devi was initially left out of India's squad after losing the selection trial, before being called up following Divyanshi Choudhary's withdrawal on medical grounds.
