Hanoi, Nov 5: Women boxers did India proud by bagging two gold and two silver medals at the Asian Indoor Games on Wednesday, Nov 4.

Four time world champ, Mary Kom (46 kg) and Kavita Goyat (64kg) won gold for India while L Sarita Devi (54 kg) and N Usha (57kg) claimed a silver each.

Mary Kom defeated local pugilist Hoa Nguyen Thi in the finals.

The petite mother of two from Manipur intimidated her Vietnamase opponent in the very first round with 1-0 and carried on her good performance to grab the title.
