Woods may gain public sympathy if wife demands half his fortune- Experts

By Super Admin

London, December 22 (ANI): Tiger Woods could gain sympathy if his wife demands half his fortune as part of divorce settlement, say experts.

Woods' marriage has been on the rocks after the exposure of his multiple affairs.

Now, it has been reported that the golfer's wife Elin Nordegren is planning to divorce him, and demand half of his 600 million dollar fortune apart from sole custody of their kids.

However, Marc Ganis, president of Chicago-based Sports Corp, feels that his wife's demands may be strangely beneficial to Woods in regaining public sympathy.

"Once his wife appears greedy in a divorce settlement, men will give Tiger sympathy," News.com.au quoted him as telling Boston Herald.

He added: "Watch how fast mens' attitudes change. We're a very forgiving society.

"This is nothing the public hasn't seen before. His redemption can come if he performs up to his standards on the golf course. But it has forced him into a much tougher comeback."

"He's got to expect for the rest of his life that if he smiles and shakes hands with a girl, she'll say she slept with him." (ANI)
