The 25-year-old unleashed a personal best of 87.68m on his final attempt, improving on his previous mark of 87.05m and ranking as the fourth-best throw globally this season (behind Rumesh Pathirage's 92.62m, Julian Weber's 90.40m, and Neeraj Chopra's 88.05m). Compatriot Yashvir Singh took silver with 82.94m, while Sri Lanka's Sumedha Ranasinghe earned bronze at 80.29m.
