After a successful India debut in February, the World Padel League (WPL) is set for a high-voltage comeback with its much-anticipated Season 3, scheduled to take place from August 12 to 16, 2025, at the Nesco Center in Mumbai.
Licensed and managed by Iconik Sports and Events Ltd., and supported by the Indian Padel Federation, WPL promises another action-packed edition featuring elite international talent and growing Indian participation.

This season marks a significant leap for the league, as two new franchises join the existing four, expanding the competition and deepening engagement with fans. The addition of new teams underscores the surging popularity of padel in India, with the sport witnessing over 2x growth in participation and infrastructure nationwide over the past year.
Following a successful February season that featured 32 international players, Season 3 will feature an expanded player pool. With a larger roster and new team compositions, fans can expect thrilling matchups and high-intensity contests across five days. The WPL continues to serve as a vital platform for both global stars and emerging Indian players to showcase their talent.
Hemali Sharma, Co-Founder of the World Padel League, commented on the league's rapid rise.
"Just six months since our last edition, Season 3 marks a major milestone. India is fast emerging as a high-potential growth hub for padel, and our goal is to deliver a world-class experience that resonates with both seasoned fans and newcomer," she said.
Krishnan Kannan, Promoter at Iconik Sports and Events Ltd, added, "Season 3 is a celebration of how far we've come. With new teams and an expanded lineup, the WPL reflects padel's incredible momentum in India."
Sneha Abraham Sehgal, President of the Indian Padel Federation, emphasized WPL's impact, saying, "The league has been instrumental in building awareness and creating an aspirational platform for local talent. With growing infrastructure and interest, India is poised to become a leading padel destination in Asia."
