Wrestler Anil adds 5th gold to India's CWG account

New Delhi, Oct 5: Gold poured in for India on the Day 2 of the Commonwealth Games 2010 with wrestler Anil Kumar claiming the fifth medal for the day on Tuesday, Oct 5.

Anil Kumar added to the growing medal tally of the host country by winning the 96 kg Greco-Roman category after grapplers Ravinder Singh and Sanjay clinched the 60 kg and 74 kg categories respectively.

Earlier in the day, shooters opened the account for India as Abhinav Bhindra and Gagan Narang
pocketed gold in 10m air rifle pair shooting, following which women shooters, Anisa Sayeed and Rahi Sarnobat won gold in the 25m pistol pairs event.

Shooters Tejaswini Sawant and Lajjakumari Gauswami also grabbed a silver medal in the 50m rifle event.
