Wright's name appear in 4-member list to replace Whatmore

Dhaka, May 7 (UNI) Former Team India coach John Wright figures in the four-member list shorlisted by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to succeed current coach Dav Whatmore.

Quoting unnamed BCB sources, Daily Star today reported that former Bangladesh under-19 coach Richard McInnes was also in the running besides Wright and two others.

''We started with ten names but now we reduced the list twice and hopefully within a short time we can reach a conclusion,'' the report quoted the BCB source as saying.

''What I can assure you is that all are from Australia and New Zealand and there is also a big name in the list,'' he added.

Apart from a head coach, the BCB is also searching for specialist batting and bowling coaches for the national cricket team.
