Yatindra Singh Memorial All India Amateur Golf from tomorrow

Jaipur, Jan 31 (UNI) Top indian golfers, including Doha Asiad silver medallist Anil Bhan Lehri and Joseph Chakola, will figure in the Yatindra Singh Memorial All India Amateur Golf Tournament starting from tomorrow at the Rambagh Golf Course here.

The tournament is named after late Indian Administrative Services Officer (IAS) who has done yeoman service for the promotion of sports, especially in Jaipur.

Rambagh Golf Course captain Kamlakar Sharma told the reporters that top ranked golfers of the Indian amateur circuit like Jasjeet, Joseph Chakola, Gagan Verma, Shorya Singh, Simarjeet Singh, Saurav and Tarun Gogle will be seen in action in the four-day championship. It would be the 12th amateur leg tournament out of 13 in a year.

He said 75 participants will take part in the tournament which would help improve thier ranking at the amateur level.

Director General of Income Tax (Investigation) Prakash Chandra would inaugurate the tournament.
