This much-awaited fight took place in the main event of ONE 168: Denver in the United States in September 2024, where Haggerty failed to defend his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title.

The pundits and fans were expecting a tight contest between Haggerty's punches and Superlek's famous kicks, but it was a destructive elbow from the pound-for-pound striking great that rocked the Brit's world.
