Superlek Kiatmoo9's name alone is enough to send chills down the spine of any opponent. The Thai striking great secured three remarkable wins against world-class rivals in 2024, endearing him to fans all over the globe.
The pound-for-pound striking superstar ended 2023 with an unforgettable, arguably all-time great Muay Thai fight with Rodtang. So fans were expecting big things from him in 2024, and boy did he deliver in style.

Earlier in the year, Japanese fighting heartthrob Takeru Segawa was supposed to make his ONE debut against Rodtang. But the Thai had to withdraw due to an injury he sustained during training. Later, Superlek stepped in to face Takeru in Japan.
Superlek put his ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Championship on the line at ONE 165 in January 2024. The pair produced a striking spectacle that will live in fans' hearts for a long time. They used every weapon in their arsenal against each other, but neither man would break.
The Kiatmoo9 superstar defended his World Title with a unanimous decision win that night. Then, in June, he faced his compatriot and rising star Kongthoranee Sor Sommai, who was on a seven-fight winning streak.
In that flyweight Muay Thai contest, Superlek showcased his striking prowess against the 28-year-old. After toe-to-toe action, Superlek managed to secure his second unanimous decision win of the year.
The Thai icon then moved up a division to challenge Jonathan Haggerty for his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title. Fans around the globe eagerly waited for this bout, and its ending shocked everyone.
Superlek's devastating elbow landed right on Haggerty's face, and that was the end of the fight. He claimed the Brit's belt and became a two-division, two-sport ONE World Champion that moment.
Even the famous MMA personality Joe Rogan referred to him as a "bad** Muay Thai fighter" after witnessing the knockout. All-time great and now-retired Demetrious Johnson on his podcast MightyCast w/ Demetrious Johnson said, "Superlek is the Striking GOAT right now."
Fans won't have to wait long for Superlek's next fight, as he will defend his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title against Nico Carrillo at ONE 170 in January 2025.
