Rio de Janeiro, Aug 21: A major blow to India's hope of winning a third medal at Rio Olympics 2016 as star wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt loses his opening bout to Mongolean opponent Ganzorigiin Mandakhnaran 0-3.
The Indian wrestler looked out of shape from the very beginning as he was not in his usual form. The wrestler from Haryana took a defensive stand from the beginning of the bout which also saw him get penalised.

It was always going to be a tough draw for the 33-year-old grappler who remained injury plagued for almost the entire last year.
Ganzorigiin Mandakhnaran of Mongolia ranks number 9 in the world and he clearly dominated the proceedings from the beginning.
In the first half Yogeshwar was penalised for being too passive and thus he was given a 30 seconds time frame where he had to score a point. He failed and thus his opponent was awarded a point instead.
