You don't scare me, Bassong to Torres

London, Jan 5 (ANI): Tottenham defender Sebastien Bassong has a message for Liverpool ace striker Fernando Torres that he will not be able to scare him.

Bassong has the unenviable task of trying to keep the Kop idol quiet when the sides meet at Anfield on Sunday.

Despite Liverpool's poor form, Torres has scored 12 league goals in 15 games to confirm his status as one of the world's best, The Sun reports.

"He is good but there are many good players in England. He is only one of them. You don't have to be scared of him, otherwise you can't play," Bassong said.

Spurs, in fourth, are four points and three places ahead of Liverpool in the race for a top-four spot.

"There is no secret. We are working hard every day in training. We've got a squad full of great guys and the spirit in the team is good. We are enjoying things," Bassong added. (ANI)
