Young Explorers From Telangana Triumph In High-Altitude Expedition

A group of young adventurers from Telangana successfully completed a high-altitude expedition led by renowned mountaineer Satyarup Siddhanta. They showcased remarkable bravery and resilience, setting new standards for youth in mountaineering.

Winners and Achievers, an adventure company led by renowned mountaineer Satyarup Siddhanta, in collaboration with Ranchi’s I3 foundation, recently completed a four-day youth expedition. This event saw four courageous young adventurers from Telangana set new benchmarks in high-altitude exploration for the youth.

The expedition featured six determined explorers aged 11-16: Lattupally Lalithya Reddy, Shamin Ramesh Kyatham, Lattupally Srihan Reddy, Goli Preetham from Telangana, and Jahnvi Mantri and Riya Shridhar from Mumbai.

These youngsters showed extraordinary bravery, supported by comprehensive safety measures and expert guidance from Siddhanta and his team.

To ensure top-notch safety, the expedition team had comprehensive insurance, including helicopter evacuation services. They carried their own oxygen supplies and had a doctor on call for any medical needs. These precautions demonstrate the company's unwavering commitment to participant safety.

Satyarup Siddhanta shared his pride in the young adventurers: "We believe in nurturing the spirit of adventure in young minds. This expedition was a perfect example of the potential and determination of our youth. Lattupally Lalithya Reddy, Shamin Ramesh Kyatham, Lattupally Srihan Reddy, and Goli Preetham have shown extraordinary grit and passion, and they are an inspiration to us all."

The young explorers reflected on their journey. Lattupally Lalithya Reddy said, "This expedition was a life-changing experience. I learned so much about resilience and teamwork. Thank you for this incredible opportunity." Shamin Ramesh Kyatham added, "Climbing these heights has given me a new perspective on what I can achieve. I am grateful to Satyarup Siddhanta and the team for their support and guidance."

Goli Preetham shared, "This expedition has ignited a passion for adventure in me. I feel more confident and ready to take on new challenges." Lattupally Srihan Reddy noted, "The journey was tough but extremely rewarding. The support from seniors was crucial in helping us reach our goals safely."

The 14-day expedition began on May 5th with the participants arriving in Kathmandu. On the 6th, they flew to Lukla and hiked to Phakding. The trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar took place on the 7th, followed by two days of acclimatization in Namche Bazaar on the 8th and 9th. On the 10th, they trekked to Tengboche, then moved to Dingboche on the 11th, with acclimatization on the 12th and 13th.

The trek continued to Lobuche on the 14th, followed by the challenging route to Everest Base Camp (EBC) and up to Gorakshep on the 15th. The 16th saw an early morning trek to Kalapatthar, then descending to Pheriche.

The descent continued on the 17th from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar, and on the 18th from Namche Bazaar to Monjo/Phakding. The final trekking day on the 19th involved hiking back to Lukla and flying to Kathmandu. The expedition concluded with the participants flying back home on May 20th.

Winners and Achievers remains at the forefront of youth expeditions, blending adventure with safety and expert supervision. The successful completion of this expedition marks another milestone in the company's mission to inspire and empower the next generation of adventurers.
