Focus On Health Awareness

Zydus Pinkathon Delhi ran under the title partnership of Zydus Lifesciences. The event pushed preventive healthcare awareness through the Easiest Exam campaign. It urged women to perform regular self-breast examinations and turn discussion into a steady habit.

Flagging off the run, Ms Meha Patel, Vice Chairperson, Zydus Foundation, said, "Health is the foundation of every family's well-being. With 1 in 8 women diagnosed with breast cancer, awareness and vigilance are essential. Self-breast examination is a simple step that can help detect the disease early and save lives."

She added that the energy at the Delhi run showed how Zydus Pinkathon and the Easiest Exam campaign are "turning awareness into action." For her, thousands of women running on Women's Day underlined how early action can save lives.

What Did The Organisers Say About Zydus Pinkathon Delhi?

Pinkathon Founder Milind Soman said, "Watching nearly 6,000 women gather at 5:30 in the morning at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on International Women's Day is incredibly powerful. Delhi has always shown heart, and today we saw courage, consistency, and community come together again."

He noted the mix "from first-time 3km participants to ultra runners and our visually impaired athletes in the 50K and 100K relay." He said this edition reflected Pinkathon values of inclusion, endurance, and long-term commitment to health.

Ankita Konwar, Founder, Invincible Women, said the diversity stood out. "Young runners, seasoned athletes, mothers running with their babies, grandmothers, and visually impaired participants pushing extraordinary limits." She stressed that fitness is a lifelong journey, not a one-day target.

Participation Legacy And Partners

More than 50,000 women have run in earlier Pinkathon Delhi editions. The 2026 turnout signalled a renewed phase for the capital's running scene. Organisers said it showed what happens when women receive space and support to join sport at scale.
