Bengaluru, September 12: Italian great Francesco Totti must have called it a day, but the AS Roma legend is still very much active be it on the football pitch or on a motorbike.
The 40-year-old, who is Roma's most-capped player in the club history and the top-scorer swapped his football boots for a bike during Sunday's (September 10) Misano MotoGP.
During the Grand Prix weekend, Totti was seen at the Ducati paddock clicking pictures with their riders Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo.
Later he sat on compatriot Dovizioso's bike and obliged the shutter bugs, a picture of which he posted on his personal Twitter handle.
"Okay, I'm trying it, but Dovizioso should be a bit stronger than me," he tweeted in a lighter vein.
Earlier, he had also taken pictures with other members of the Ducati team and wished them good luck for the race.
"With some friends in the box Ducati! Come on guys and good luck for the contest," he tweeted.
But the Misano GP held under wet conditions turned out to be a mixed one for Team Ducati.
While Dovizioso finished third, his team-mate and former world champion Lorenzo crashed out despite leading till the seventh lap.
A different kind of a challenge awaits the Roma legend tonight (September 12).
With his club set to take on Atletico Madrid in the Champions League Group C match, Totti will be back in his familiar terrain at the Stadio Olimpico dug out, but not with the player-jersey on, but in a Roma suit as he begins his new life as the Director of the Serie A club.
