
Formula 1 Live streaming in India, Bahrain GP 2023: Saturday excites ardent of F1 fans lover as the 2023 season's first Qualifying is all set to take place at the Bahrain Grand Prix in Shakir.
All 10 teams from the last season are in the run this season and they namely are defending champions Red Bull Racing, Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, BWT Alpine, Aston Martin, Haas, AlphaTauri, Williams, Alfa Romeo. Check full list of their drivers below
Bahrain GP 2023 started on Friday with the first two practice sessions. Fernando Alonso in his Aston Martin posted the quickest time at 1:30.907 seconds, followed by the two Red Bulls of defending champion Max Verstappen (1:31.076) and Sergio Perez (1:31.078), who were separated by just 0.002 seconds at the end of the practice 2.
Things looked quite serious in comparison to free practice 1, which was the opening session of the 2023 season, as Perez posted the quickest time in the afternoon with a timing of 1.32.758 seconds.
In FP2, Ferrari were not too far off the pace with Charles Leclerc lapping fourth quickest at 1:31.376 seconds while Nico Hulkenberg, who is returning to F1 with a full-driving seat for the first time since the 2019 season with Renault, had his moment of confidence as the German went fifth quickest after going 14th in the FP1.
Alonso's teammate Lance Stroll, who almost missed the Bahrain GP with a freak bike accident, was sixth quickest ahead of Pierre Gasly in his Alpine (1:31.450 seconds).
Mercedes are not looking like a championship-winning car yet as seven-time Lewis Hamilton was eighth quickest with a lap of 1:31.543 secs while his teammate George Russell was down at 13th.
Lando Norris was ninth quickest in his McLaren while Alfa Romeo's Zhou Guanyu was the 10th quickest and the fastest Asian on the grid ahead of AlphaTauri's Yuki Tsunoda, down at 18th. Check the full FP2 results below
