Formula One set to unveil new point system that could benefit Hamilton
London, Dec.11 (ANI): Formula One is set to unveil a new points system under which race winners will score 25 points instead of 10, while second-placed drivers will collect 20 rather than eight.
According to The Sun, this could benefit both Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Buton, who both will have a greater incentive to go all out for wins next season.
The top-10 finishers would also score points - from 15, 10, eight, six, five, three, two, down to one.
The plan is set to get the go-ahead from motor sport chiefs today. (ANI)
