Lewis Hamilton Addresses Rumours Of Rift With Ferrari Engineer Riccardo Adami After Monaco Race

Lewis Hamilton has dismissed speculation about a rift with Ferrari engineer Riccardo Adami following a challenging Monaco race. He emphasised their strong partnership and commitment to winning together despite recent difficulties.

Lewis Hamilton has addressed rumours about a possible conflict with Ferrari engineer Riccardo Adami. After a challenging weekend in Monaco, where Hamilton finished fifth, speculation arose about their relationship. Despite the tough season and no podium finishes since joining the team post-2024, Hamilton insists there are no issues between them.

During the cool-down lap in Monaco, Hamilton thanked his team for fixing his car after a crash in practice. He then asked if anyone was upset with him but received no response. This incident followed a three-place grid penalty he received for impeding Max Verstappen due to incorrect information from Adami.

Hamilton explained that radio problems during the race led to incomplete information. "I didn't get all the information that I wanted, and that was it," he told Sky Sports. He believes media speculation about their radio exchanges at the Australian season opener was exaggerated.

Hamilton dismissed most of the speculation as unfounded. "There's a lot of speculation. I mean most of it's b******t," he stated. He praised Adami, saying, "He's been amazing to work with." They share a strong working relationship despite occasional disagreements.

Both are committed to winning a championship together and improving the team's performance. Hamilton emphasised that external noise doesn't affect their focus or goals.

Championship Hopes

Currently trailing Oscar Piastri by 98 points after eight races, Hamilton remains optimistic about his title chances. Although this season's championship seems difficult to win, he is hopeful for next year. "Next year is the championship that's currently open," he said, acknowledging the challenges ahead.

Hamilton's determination remains unwavering as he looks forward to upcoming races and potential improvements in car performance for next season.
