Bengaluru, Apr 4: Karna Kadur, a prominent Indian rally driver, and his co-driver, Musa Sherif, are poised to make their international debut at the RAAT Thailand National Rally Championship 2024. They will lead a contingent of five Indian teams in this prestigious event, scheduled for April 6 and 7 in Chacheongsao Province, Thailand.
Invited by Toyota Racing, part of TCD Asia, Kadur, a two-time National Overall champion from Bengaluru, and Sherif, a seven-time National Overall co-driver champion from Kasargod, will join forces with 'Team Fast Forward Sport’.

Their teammates include Thailand's top driver Mana Pornsiricherd and co-driver Kittisak Klinchan, who secured a podium at the APRC round in Chennai in 2023. Both pairs will compete in the top RC1 Class, driving a Toyota C-HR AP4 machine.
Karna Kadur expressed enthusiasm about their participation. "We are very happy to have received this call from TCD Thailand to drive the Toyota CHR alongside Mana san for the first round of the Thai National Rally Championship. We are looking forward to our first international outing together," he said.

The rally will spotlight the reigning 2023 champions in the 2w drive class, Jason Saldanha and Thimmanna Uddapanda, the first Indians to clinch a title in the Thailand Championship.
