Noah, Natraj adjudged as the best riders

Bengaluru, November 28: Bengaluru-based riders Harith Noah and R Nataraja once again proved their mettle as they were adjudged as the best riders in their respective categories in the recently concluded Pune Invitational Supercross League.
The three-day supercross extravaganza witnessed quality racing and thrilling performance by top notch international and national riders. The Pune Invitational Supercross League organised by VILO Events is the largest and the most talked about supercross event in India. Modeled on cricket's popular Indian Premier League (IPL), the Pune Invitational Supercross League today has emerged as a game changer in motorsports which is gaining huge popularity.
A total of 53 national riders and 11 international riders took part in the league. Participating teams for this year were, Stallion Riders, Bhalla Royale, INK Racing, PB Racing, Team Greeshm, Lilleria Motorsports & Pashankar Racing. Debutants Stallion Riders bagged the title with a total of 438 points.
Harith Noah representing INK Racing in the SX1 category, dominated the proceedings as he finished first in the five out of the six motos (races) and bagged third position in one moto (race).
Noah was adjudged as the best rider in the category. The current national champion lived up to his reputation as he bagged the best rider of the category for the second time in the league. Harith was adjudged as the best rider in the same category in 2014. Noah today is regarded as the best and the most prolific rider at the national and international level.
The talented lad was the most sought after rider by one and all at the league held in Pune. Noah has been regularly invited at the league and has become a face every budding rider looks after. Noah won the title riding his well tuned TVS Apache RTR 250.
Natraj was the most costly rider of the league after he a successfully bid by team Bhalla Royal for a sum of Rs. 60,000. Natraj, a known face in the racing fraternity and five-time National supercross champion too has been a regular face at the Pune Invitational Supercross League.
Natraj was participating in the SX3 category riding his TVS Apache RTR, where he was defending his best rider title. The category, once again witnessed the sheer brilliance of Natraj. The Benglauru-based rider won four out six motos (races) and secured second position one moto (race).
For team Bhalla Royale and for Natraj the biggest setback was that the rider not being able to finish the race due to crash in other two motos. Imran Pasha from Pashankar Racing secured the second position with 96 points from six motos.
Speaking about the presence of both the riders and their performance, Eeshan Lokhande, former international rider & Event Director & Partner, Vilo Events said, "Harith Noah & R. Natraj participation in all the four editions have added the X factor to the league. Both the riders have been consistently raising the bar amongst stiff competition. Their success once again reiterates their talent and hunger for success. They in a way are our brand ambassadors of the league and we are really proud of their success."
Sharing his views on the league he added, "As a sport, Supercross is gaining in a lot of popularity in India. The kind of response we got was overwhelming. The quality of racing throughout the league was fantastic. The league has taken Supercross as a sport to the next level and has given the sport a huge push."
